UltraSounds of Silence

This morning, we got up early, checked out of the motel, and headed off to the UltraSound test to see what is going on with my lymph-nodes.

We got there, supposedly for prep work at 7:30 and the test at 8:00. I actually got called in around 8 ...

Three Months and Counting

The real point of our trip to Houston was to see if the cancer has stayed gone. Yesterday, we got no clue about that, and it was hard to focus on things they are saying when that big question is in the back of your mind?

Wandering the Halls of M. D. Anderson

Today, we are on our three-month checkup at M. D. Anderson. Two days and about a dozen appointments to get through.

More Nationals Flying

Jim Coffin Launching

This week I am reliving something I did a lot of, 40-50 years ago. I am spending time at a competition attended by several hundred folks from all over the country. These folks, and their families, are spending their days in an 1100 acre field owned by the Academy of ...

Transporting the Toys

It is always fun looking at how model airplane builders get their models to the flying sites. I took a number of pictures showing how the competitors did things this week:
