Our next topic is one of the most important. We need to be able to break up our programs into smaller chunks, and Functions let us do that. We will look at how you set up functions, and get data to them, and get results out of them. Actually, you have been using functions all along, you now need to figure out how to build your own.

Lab Project

After studying arrays,let’s see if we can use an array full of data to draw a picture. This is an important idea, since “hard coding” data into your program is not very useful. It is much neater to be able to create a list of values for something you want to draw, and process that list in a loop. Be careful with this one, you need to think about what is in your array, and what each piece controls:
