Week 9 Assignments

Lectures

This week we examine the basic statements provided by C++. Guess what, they look a lot like things we have used as Pseudo-Code in our previous lectures.

You will be doing some interaction with the user of your program (that is you while testing your code, and me while grading your work!) We will work through an example program, then you get to play with a variation of the first thinking assignment you did for this course (remember that square root thing?)

Here are the lectures for this week:

Homework

There is no homework this week.

Lab Project

The lab project for this week will work through calculating the cube-root of some number. Remember your thought exercise for the square root. This one is actually easier, since we tap into the mind of Isaac Newton to see how to do it.
