Some time back, A cool Python developer named Doug Hellman, decided he anted to
learn more about the standard packages that came with Python. He could see the
list of these modules by navigating to ``lib`` in his Python installation. There
were hundreds of packages and modules in that folder.

Her decided to pick on module each week and learn about that module in detail

Doug put up a website where he posted the work he did each week. Eventually,
O`Reilly Publighing contacted him, and his work is now a nice book you cna find
in B&N. 

His website is still around, and it is a good resource for new Python
developers.
